As at the time Vanguard left the area, accreditation was yet to begin, especially as INEC says there would be no manual accreditation during the current exercise.

Voting started at Umuduruoma booth 006, Ikeduru local council area when Vanguard arrived the community. There was however an uproar when an All Progressives Congress, APC, stalwart simply called Shavon, came to the polling booth. The people protested, especially as the man is not a native of the area and ought to have respected the movement restriction order.

It was however not clear where the Shavon was visiting from that polling booth and what he was out to accomplish by the act.

At Umuduru, Isiala Mbano, voters came out in their numbers. Security agents were in there numbers. the cards readers functioned properly and voting started on schedule.
Feelers coming from the field showed that one INEC ad-hoc staff was arrested at Oru East by INEC Commissioner for alleged electoral irregularity in Oru East.
It was also gathered that a man, who posed as an INEC ad-hoc staff but could not properly explain himself to security personnel, was quickly whisked away for questioning.
